KP2BP – Kingpin to Gooseneck Ball adapter

This fifth wheel to gooseneck adapter enables an easy connection between the gooseneck trailer and the fifth wheel of the truck. This gooseneck to kingpin adapter converts the fifth wheel hitch into a gooseneck ball by simply locking the king pin into the fifth wheel.

Kingpin to 2 5/16″ Gooseneck Ball

The adapter has a solid 2″ kingpin with a 1/2″ thick 10″ diameter bolster plate. The 2-5/16 inch ball and kingpin is rated for 30,000 lbs. The product is plated to provide a durable lasting finish.

  • Always block your fifth wheel plate to keep it from tilting/articulating. Not locking/blocking the 5th wheel head adds excessive force/stress that could damage the adapter and cause failure.

  • You may have to adjust the main coupler tube height on your gooseneck trailer to allow the trailer to ride level when towing.

Kingpin to Gooseneck Ball Adapter Application

This fifth wheel to gooseneck adapter is intended for short tows, not as a permanent solution. This product should not be used as a normal working solution as it’s not recommended for regular highway use.
