The ET Farm Utility Model

Depending on the selection of air ride system, this hitch will cover a range of trailers rated up to 40K GTWR and suggested pin weights of 4000 to 9000 VTW (Optimal Range). Built with the same core features as the ET Senior and ET Super Senior models, our Utility Model incorporates an extended mounting plate that accommodates additional towing configurations while supporting a variety of build requirements.
Engineered Utility Design
The ET Farm Utility Model features a 32″ x 44-1/4″ mounting plate constructed from 1/2-inch-thick material. Its mounting plate extends 8 inches beyond the non-Utility models, providing space for a 30K gooseneck hitch ball mounted at the rear of the mounting plate. This design retains the same features found in the ET Senior and ET Super Senior models while providing space for the rear-mounted 30K gooseneck hitch ball. Typical head height is 15 inches from the top of the mounting plate to the top of the fifth wheel coupler head.
Air Ride Configuration Options
The ET Farm Utility Model is available with two air ride system configurations to suit different towing requirements. Customers may choose either four 2,500-pound air bags or one 13,500-pound air bag based on their preferred setup.
Depending on the selected air ride system, the hitch is designed for trailers rated up to 40,000 pounds GTWR with an optimal suggested pin weight of 4,000 to 9,000 pounds VTW. The air bag system offers a total of five inches of movement, with three inches of downward movement and two inches of upward movement.
Durable Features Designed into Every Hitch
The ET Farm Utility Model incorporates several design features that contribute to its overall construction and operation. A fully articulating head allows movement during towing, while hardened steel wrap-around jaws form part of the hitch assembly. Space-age greaseless bearings are incorporated into the hitch design.
The hitch also features a parallelogram design that transfers horizontal chucking to the air spring system. Each hitch ships 100 percent complete and features a durable powder coat finish. The ET Farm Utility Model is proudly American Made.

Premium quality Goodyear or Firestone air spring/air bags. Offer a wide range of motion in all ET hitches. Air bags are offered in different weight rating and selected for optimal performance for the best ride on the road.
Automatic Head Leveling Valve. This innovation insures the coupler head remains at the proper operating height when under a load. Although the optimum range of operation is at 40% to 60% (40 to 60 psi) the head leveling valve will keep the coupler head at the right height with a lighter or heavier tongue weight.
Designed with anti-chucking mechanism. Chucking is that nagging pulling back and forth between truck and trailer. The geometric design, a parallelogram “dog bones” in the ET hitch vertically suspends 100% of the pin weight on the air bags and when the chucking force comes forward it redirects the force downwards into the same airbag(s).
