205ST45K Flip-Over Hitch for Semi-Tractor and Cab/Chassis
Flip-Over Hitch for Semi-Tractors and Cab/Chassis
Installs behind fifth-wheel on standard 34″ frames
NOTE: PopUp Towing Products Semi-hitches will NOT fit truck frames with an outside width greater than 34″. 34″ frame width is an industry standard for most Semi-Tractors as well as Cab & Chassis pick-up trucks. As always measure your frame width precisely before ordering your semi-hitch.
Because the Flip-Over ball rotates in its socket, hitch ball and coupler life are greatly extended. They don’t “grind” against each other when you tow. The other advantage of a rotating ball is that it stays “free” in its socket so you can easily turn it over when you want a level floor in your truck.
Requires 10″ on top of the frame and 4″ down each side. Mounts with three 3/4″ bolts on each side.
Fabricated from 1/2” high-grade steel. Complete with 2 5/16” Stainless Steel ball rated at 45,000 lb GTWR and mounting hardware. Gross tongue weight of 9,000 lbs. VTW. This unit is also available in a 30,000 lb GTWR and 6,500 VTW unit and comes with a 2 5/16″ ball (205ST30K). Also available separately is a 3” ball rated at 45,000 lb and 9,000 lb VTW (FL1005-3).
The ball is locked in the one-piece machined steel socket with a spring loaded stainless steel pin. Simply rotate the handle to retract the pin, pull the ball out and store it inverted and out of the way in the socket giving full access to the fifth-wheel.

What our customers are saying
- “This is a 2019 Ford F-150 with 5’5” bed. I was worried about finding a product to get the clearance I needed to pull my horse trailer . My trailer is almost 79 inches wide . Installed the SB116 16” inch extension coupler on my trailer and I’ve pulled it several trips now and it works great. My trailer pulls great due to load is on the truck where it needs to be. Very well made and love the fact I don’t have to get up in the back of truck or reach over the bedside to hook up and unhook. The folks at PopUp Towing were great to deal with and answered all my questions.” - Mark G.
- “We installed a CAG (Connect-Adapt-Go) from PopUp Towing on a truck recently. It went in very easily. Instructions were very clear and we are very pleased in the outcome. We will definitely do more business with PopUp Towing.” - Rick & Jean Horsch
- “We purchased a CC2 Cushion Coupler by PopUp Towing. I’ll tell you what, after arriving home from the last horse show, we were amazed to find two cans of pop that were left on the dinette table still on the table. Now that’s a smooth ride!” - Larry P.
- “I was having trouble explaining my issue and determining a solution to my turning issue when towing my gooseneck trailer. A friend of mine said, you should try to call the guys at PopUp Towing as they helped solve his issues. Let me tell you, I spoke with two gentlemen at PopUp if I remember correctly their names were Derrick and Chance, those to guys seem to have more knowledgeable information than anyone I’ve spoken with in this industry. Years of valuable knowledge, and highly recommended if you have similar issues. Thanks again and I absolutely love the new RVGC complete pinbox replacement to allow me to tow my 5th wheel without the bulky 5th wheel hitch taking up my bed space.” - Bill F.
